Overlooking the lawns of Beverly Cañon Gardens, The Terrace has a unique setting with the charm of a European piazza, with white parasols, all-day dining and a cascading fountain within earshot.

Seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner have a Mediterranean feel, offering an abundance of choice as they celebrate the very finest produce from California’s sea and shores, valleys and vines. House-made pastas sit alongside lighter dishes and an array of entrees to suit every palate. Each day, meats and fish are assiduously well-sourced and fruit and vegetables are always farmers’ market fresh.

Whether you prefer a table inside, outside, or somewhere in between, there’s a choice of all three. Opt for the formal sophistication of the dining room with its horseshoe banquets and captivating mural by Silverlake-based artist Jessalyn Brooks, the shade of the vaulted colonnade, or dine under L.A.’s blissfully blue skies and twinkling stars as you entertain friends and family in extraordinary style.

Thanksgiving Brunch

Signature dishes with SoCal spirit – unwind into Thanksgiving at The Terrace. Whether gathered under clear skies, with Beverly Cañon Gardens as your backdrop, or settled in the intimate private dining room, expect family-style feasts with all the trimmings – and, of course, the classic Diestel turkey. Meanwhile, made-to-share desserts shine a spotlight on pumpkin, pecan and perfectly whipped Tahitian vanilla Chantilly.

Brunch at The Terrace is served from 11am to 9pm, with three sittings available in our private dining room, for eight guests or more.

Our Kitchen, Your Table

Elevate Thanksgiving celebrations at home with our perfectly packed to-go menu, ready to simply heat and serve. Each beautifully roasted organic Diestel turkey serves four, and is accompanied by a signature smorgasbord of sweet potatoes, yams, heirloom carrots and the must-have apple, chestnut and sage stuffing. Pumpkin pie, chocolate and pecan tart, and a brown butter apple cake bring proceedings to a sweet close.

Home for the Holidays

Bring the taste of The Terrace to your own patch of L.A. with our festive takeaway menu, created to plate and enjoy at home. An organic Diestel turkey is yours to carve, accompanied by a feast of traditional side dishes – for piling plates high with sweet potatoes and yams, heirloom carrots, and chestnut and sage stuffing. With everything expertly prepared, the only difficulty is deciding which desserts to round off the occasion: the cocoa rich ‘Bûche de Noël’ or a slice of sweet style courtesy of apple or bourbon pecan pies.

Festive Afternoon Tea

We’ve transformed our afternoon tea for the holidays, serving sandwiches with seasonal flavors and sweet treats with a festive spin. Sip your choice of loose-leaf tea or savor a touch of fizz. After all, it’s the most wonderful time of year to enjoy a sparkling glass of Laurent-Perrier champagne.

Private Dining

The Terrace Private Dining Room offers style, seclusion and our inimitable high standard of service. With contemporary art and photography from the Maybourne Hotel Group’s museum-worthy collection on the walls and one long marble table, it can accommodate up to 10 guests. 

Setting the scene for special festive dinners with friends and loved ones, feast, toast and celebrate the season with an all-the-trimmings three-course menu, special for the holidays. Fresh smoked salmon carpaccio, apple and chestnut stuffing, classic Bûche de Noël – festive favorites are served family style, with an oh-so-tender Diestel turkey centerpiece, of course.

Meet the Muralist

Los Angeles-based painter Jessalyn Brooks is known for her works which celebrate the female form with blocky, colorful abstraction. Inspired by the geometric lines of Cubism, the early-20th-century art movement made famous by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, Brooks paints strong, angular and mostly full-bodied women. With their female focus, Brooks’ paintings bring forth an important question of beauty ideals, body shape and gender.
